Internship Work

Rerich completed two internships while at Missouri Baptist University.

The first internship was with the St. Louis Press Club during Fall 2014. Some of his duties included common office work (returning phone calls, sending emails using Constant Contact, sending mail), designing collateral on Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, compiling meeting notes (minutes) and running the member directory on Microsoft Excel. Rerich helped with various events held at a plethora of locations in the St. Louis area. He reported weekly to the Executive Director, Glenda Partlow.  

The second internship was completed with the Schulenburg Sticker, a weekly newspaper near Rerich’s hometown in Texas. In the summer of 2015, Rerich was tasked with a few things like editing copy, designing pages and taking photography for various stories. Once again, Rerich became more familiar with Photoshop and InDesign and how to effectively use social media to boost views. Rerich also compiled over 10 pieces that were published in the paper during his internship, some of which made front page news. He reported daily to the Lead Editor, Darrell Vyvjala.
